I’m a server and I’m on call. I anticipate being called into work because at least one person will have the July Fifth Flu (hangover). I am correct. I am called in. I am working a double.

But…

I have had this project in mind to create this virtual space for people who work in bars and restaurants. And for people who eat and drink and are curious about their servers. I will be interviewing Hawaii folks who work in the service industry.

Working a double gave me an opportunity to chat with one of our bartenders, Thea. July 5^th was Thea’s last day at Gordon Biersch Honolulu and she was kind enough to let me try out this Aloha SIN thing. Thanks Thea!
