a Server & a Bartender

I’m a server and I’m on call. I anticipate being called into work because at least one person will have the July Fifth Flu (hangover). I am correct. I am called in. I am working a double.

But…

I have had this project in mind to create this virtual space for people who work in bars and restaurants. And for people who eat and drink and are curious about their servers. I will be interviewing Hawaii folks who work in the service industry.

Working a double gave me an opportunity to chat with one of our bartenders, Thea. July 5th was Thea’s last day at Gordon Biersch Honolulu and she was kind enough to let me try out this Aloha SIN thing. Thanks Thea!

    This is awesome and just the kind of dirt that makes an establishment worth coming back to… The food and drink are just the tip of the iceberg. Way to go Mardi!!!
